Context
One of Morocco's leading banks asked us to rethink their mobile app as part of a wider digital transformation. The product worked, but it didn't feel like one product: every flow had its own visual logic, the patterns were stuck a few years behind, and the navigation simply wouldn't carry the new services they wanted to launch. The team needed a single design language that could grow with the bank — not another reskin.
Approach
I drove the redesign end-to-end: information architecture first, then the critical journeys (onboarding, transfers, cards, statements), then the screens and micro-interactions on top of a shared component library. Most days I was in the room with BCG consultants, the client's product owners and their engineering leads — making sure every decision was both ambitious and shippable. To give the app a real identity I introduced subtle 3D moments built in Spline, woven into the visual system rather than glued on top.
Outcome
A cohesive mobile experience aligned to the bank's digital strategy, with a documented design system the product squads now share. The visual and interaction language we set is already being reused on adjacent client surfaces — the redesign became a kit, not a one-off.
